Consumer Awareness Campaign Submits 16-Point Suggestions to Government for Market Reform

Kathmandu. The Consumer Awareness Campaign (Nepal) has submitted a 16-point suggestion letter to the government demanding legal and institutional reforms to control unhealthy competition, sale of substandard goods, arbitrary pricing, and fraud against consumers prevalent in the market.
The campaign concluded that consumer rights guaranteed by the constitution cannot be ensured without removing structural weaknesses and handed over the suggestion letter to high-ranking government officials and chairpersons of parliamentary committees on Friday.
