Janakpur Protest Suspended After 13-Point Demands Submitted to Home Minister

Kathmandu. The movement and dispute that have been going on in Janakpur for some time are moving towards resolution. The United Hindu Front has submitted a 13-point demand letter incorporating its demands to the Home Minister of the Government of Nepal and has postponed all its movement programs for the time being.

The demand letter was handed over to Home Minister Sudhan Gurung by the Front today (Saturday) at the District Administration Office, Dhanusha. With the submission of the demand letter, the Front has announced the suspension of all its movement programs (including strikes and protests), according to which the previously announced bandhs and movement programs will be completely withdrawn and suspended from tomorrow.
