Absconding Banking Offender Arrested in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Absconding defendants in banking offense cases registered in various districts and police circles have been arrested from Kathmandu. A police team dispatched from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, took Anjan Bhatta under control on Friday from Ward No. 7 of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality in Kathmandu. Bhatta, who was arrested, has been sent to the District Police Office, Bharatpur, Chitwan for further investigation and necessary legal action.
Bhatta, a permanent resident of Ward No. 3 of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality in Dhading district and currently residing in Ward No. 7 of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality in Kathmandu, was accused by Rishiram Acharya in a banking offense case. Based on that complaint, an arrest warrant was issued by the Chitwan District Court in the banking offense case, after which he had been absconding.
