UN Secretary-General Calls for Immediate End to Middle East Conflict

Kathmandu. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that the ongoing war in all sectors of the Middle East must be stopped immediately.

Stating that the war in this region must end and lasting peace must be established, and that international transit rights and freedoms in and around the waterways of Hormuz and Bab-el-Mandeb must be fully restored, Guterres said that diplomatic means must be the reliable path to victory.
