Weather Forecast: Heavy Rainfall Expected in Several Provinces

Kathmandu. Due to the influence of monsoon winds across the country, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces today.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low-pressure line is currently around the average position in the west and slightly north of the average position in the east. The Tarai region of Sudurpashchim Province has partial cloudiness, while the rest of the region has general to full cloudiness. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
