Kakarvitta imports petroleum products worth over Rs 24.5 billion in year

Jhapa, Aug 2: Petroleum products worth over Rs 24.5 billion were imported via the Kakarvitta point along Nepal-India border in Jhapa during the last fiscal year 2026/27.
The imports mainly include petrol, diesel and cooking or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
