Former President Bhandari calls for adhering to integrity shown by political luminaries

Kathmandu, Aug 2: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said it is necessary for the society to embrace philosophy demonstrated and promoted by the political luminaries so as to strengthen democratic norms and values, integrity, good governance and accountability to the public.

Addressing a programme organised by the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation to mark the 29th Memorial Day of the Tulsilal Amatya in Lalitpur today, the former Head of State recalled Amatya’s lifelong dedication and sacrifices to philosophy, principles and to the civic service.
