Rajkishor Yadav Discusses Madhesh Politics and National Challenges

Kathmandu. Rajkishor Yadav is a name established in both Madhesh and national politics. A leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Yadav has led various ministries at different times.

Madhesh-centric parties, which had a stronghold in Madhesh, were completely wiped out in the House of Representatives elections held in February. What is the current state of Madhesh-centric parties? Did the parties calling themselves messiahs of Madhesh play any role in controlling the communal violence that erupted in Madhesh? What is the relationship between the state and the Madhesi community? What are the challenges facing the Rastriya Swatantra Party government?
