Sudan Army Drone Attack Kills 35 in Darfur, Rights Group Says

Darfur. At least 35 people were killed in a drone attack by the Sudanese army in Sudan's western Darfur region, a human rights group said. Several others were injured in the attack.

According to the emergency lawyers group 'Emergency Lawyers', the drone attack targeted a traditional court in the village of Gara Al-Jawiya in North Darfur state on Sunday afternoon. Civilians had gathered at the court premises to attend hearings on local issues and disputes around 1 p.m. local time when the attack occurred.
