Nepali Congress Internal Dispute Delays Active Membership Management

Kathmandu. The management of active membership has been thrown into uncertainty due to the internal dispute of the Nepali Congress. The committee formed under the convenership of General Secretary Pradip Paudel has become a 'prisoner of indecision' as it has not been able to make further decisions even after the deadline set by the committee has passed.

Earlier, the committee had issued a notice on Shrawan 11, setting a deadline of Shrawan 14 for the ward committees to approve active memberships. Even though it is Shrawan 18, neither has there been any notice of extension of the deadline, nor has the process of membership approval been announced as completed.
