The Far-Western Province is in a state of budget holiday. The budget for the current fiscal year has not been passed by the Provincial Assembly.
On the other hand, although a new government is said to be formed in the alliance between the CPN (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal, the process has not moved forward.
