MP Bishnubahadur Bishwakarma Raises Border Security, Corruption Allegations in National Assembly

In the National Assembly meeting held on Monday, Nepali Communist Party MP Bishnubahadur Bishwakarma raised the issue of Indian activities in the Lipulekh-Limpiyadhura region, the destruction of embankments in Susta, and the injury of three Nepali youths, demanding a government response on Nepal's border security and sovereignty protection. He also accused the Minister of Law and the Minister of Infrastructure of riding stolen vehicles. Bishwakarma said, 'Indian vehicles are being driven on Nepali land Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, embankments were destroyed in Susta, three youths were injured. When will the border be secured? And when will the Indian bullying end, government?' He further added, 'Our Minister of Law and Minister of Infrastructure are running hundreds of people in the name of personal assistants in a convoy of stolen vehicles.' He accused the government of proving this country to be a country of government robbers and questioned when the illegal business would end. He accused the government of remaining silent on the four-month-long movement of Deepa Nepali. He urged the government to immediately call for talks and resolve the problem by addressing the demands of the victims.
