Joint secretary arrested over fake travel documents issued to Tibetans

Pushpa Raj Bhattarai accused of issuing fraudulent documents to five Tibetan refugees 17 years ago; remanded in custody for investigation.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Monday arrested Pushpa Raj Bhattarai, a joint secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in connection with an alleged passport fraud case.
