A healthcare system that never stops caring

In my previous article, I suggested that Nepal’s healthcare system suffers from a memory problem. Medical records remain trapped inside individual institutions. Patients carry the burden of remembering their own medical history. Every hospital sees only one chapter of a patient’s life. The obvious question is this:

What would a healthcare system look like if it were designed around the patient rather than around the hospital?
