Prachanda States Leftist Movement Weakened by Power Struggles

Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the leftist movement has weakened due to getting entangled in the strategy of making and breaking power. He said this while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday on the occasion of the 24th Botle Memorial Day.

Prachanda said that the communist movement has faced a setback due to being engaged in power-centric games. He stated that the leftist movement was on the right track until the promulgation of the constitution, but the current situation arose because the strategy was abandoned after starting to lead the government following the constitution's enactment. Prachanda urged attention to connecting the party and the people in the journey towards socialism.
