Govt introduces lottery programs for taxpayers’ control tax evasion

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The government, which has adopted various measures to increase revenue collection and control tax evasion in the past, has now launched a program to attract consumers through rewards. The government has introduced a new method of controlling tax evasion by providing consumers with gifts ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 1,000,000 based on the bills of purchased items.
