Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Heavy Rainfall Expected

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently located slightly north of the average position, near the Terai region of Nepal.

Due to this, there is generally cloudy weather across the country. Currently, thunderstorms with moderate rainfall are occurring in some places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places in Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and one or two places in Lumbini province.
