MP Laxmi Prasad Pokharel Discusses Development and Petroleum Extraction

Laxmi Prasad Pokharel is a leader of the CPN (UML) and a Member of Parliament elected from Dailekh Constituency Number 2. Born on June 27, 1962, in Chhuidipusakot, Dullu Municipality-5, Dailekh, Pokharel was involved in the teaching profession from 1984 to 1986.

In the recently concluded election, Pokharel was elected as a Member of Parliament by defeating the Nepali Congress candidate Dikpal Kumar Shahi. He was also elected from Dailekh-2 in the second Constituent Assembly election in 2013.
