International Rights Groups Skip Parliamentary Committee Meeting on Judicial Pressure

Kathmandu. Three international human rights organizations that issued a statement expressing pressure for impeachment against three Supreme Court justices have not attended the meeting called by the House of Representatives' Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee.

Representatives from Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the International Commission of Jurists, who issued a statement expressing objection to the pressure for impeachment against senior Supreme Court justices, have not participated in the discussion.
