Government Appoints Yubak to Investment Board CEO Position

Kathmandu. The government has decided to appoint Yubak Yubak as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to appoint Yubak as the executive officer of the board, informed government spokesperson and Education Minister Sammit Pokharel. Yubak is a development economist. Previously, Yubak, a resident of Kathmandu, who worked as a consultant at the Investment Board, is known as an expert in public policy, sustainable development, climate, economic development and investment. Yubak has experience working as a Senior Policy Advisor at the United Nations Development Program's Pacific Office (Fiji). Prior to that, she was a Development Economist at UNDP Nepal. The recommendation committee, chaired by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, had recommended the names of Yubak Yubak, Manoj Poudel and Jitendra Dhital for the CEO of the Investment Board.
