3 Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have arrested a group operating a drug trade from a guesthouse in Kathmandu's New Buspark. Three people involved in trafficking brown heroin, brought from Saptari in Madhesh Province, to Kathmandu have been arrested, SP Durga Raj Regmi of the Narcotics Control Bureau told Ratopati.

Those arrested are Hit Bahadur Basnet, 34, from Okhaldhunga, Ramkrishna Sharma, 19, from Rajgadh Rural Municipality-7 in Saptari, and Dhananjay Paswan, 21, from Janaknandini Rural Municipality-3 in Dhanusha.
