Two Sarlahi farmers jailed in Bihar over fertiliser transport granted bail

The brothers spent more than a month in Dumra Jail after Indian authorities accused them of smuggling fertiliser they had bought for use on their farm amid shortages in Nepal.

Two brothers from Sarlahi who spent more than a month in an Indian prison on charges of fertiliser smuggling have been granted bail by a district court in Sitamarhi, Bihar.
