New Political Party 'Jai Nepal Party' to be Registered

Kathmandu. A new political party 'Jai Nepal Party' under the leadership of businessman Durga Prasai and leader Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana is to be registered in the Election Commission. According to leader Sagun Lavati, a decision has been made to complete the formal process of party registration by reaching the Election Commission on the upcoming Shrawan 28. An agreement has been reached to give Rana the responsibility of chairman and Prasai the responsibility of supreme leader in the proposed new party. According to him, all the necessary procedures for party registration will be completed on Shrawan 28 and an application will be submitted to the Election Commission. This party will make nationalist ideology its main agenda and claims to play an interventionist role in the contemporary politics of the country. This new collaboration between Prasai and Rana, who have been active in separate campaigns and parties for a long time, is being watched with interest in political circles. It is said that this party is being formed with the aim of uniting nationalist forces in particular.
