Government Publishes New Salary Scale for Community School Teachers

Kathmandu. The government has published a new salary scale for teachers working in community schools. According to the new schedule published by the Ministry of Finance, the salaries of teachers from primary to secondary level have been increased. In which, the monthly salary of teachers who have failed SLC (Fail) has also been fixed at more than 34 thousand rupees.

According to the new salary scale, the monthly salary of teachers working at the primary level and who have failed SLC in more than two subjects has reached 34 thousand 4 hundred and 26 rupees. Similarly, teachers who have failed SLC in up to two subjects will receive a monthly salary of 36 thousand 4 hundred and 45 rupees. For teachers who have passed SLC at the primary level, the salary has been fixed at 43 thousand 4 hundred and 28 rupees for the third grade, 48 thousand 3 hundred and 87 rupees for the second grade, and 60 thousand 8 hundred and 74 rupees for the first grade.
