Alphabet Appoints Demis Hassabis Chief Scientist, Google DeepMind Sees Leadership Change

California. US search engine company Google's parent company Alphabet has made a significant leadership change in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The company has appointed Google DeepMind Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Demis Hassabis to the newly created position of Chief Scientist.

With this change, Hassabis will step away from the daily management of DeepMind and focus on the company's long-term AI strategy and research related to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
