New salary scale of government employees updated

Kathmandu, Aug 6 : The Ministry of Finance has rolled out the updated salary scale for the fiscal year 2083/84 BS, which will take effect starting this month of Shrawan (July 17).

This decision was made in the Council of Ministers’ meeting on July 22, where they approved the new salary scale, grades, technical grades, and incentive allowances. Back on May 29, the government had announced a 10 percent salary hike along with a 10 percent incentive allowance as part of the budget.
