Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Apologizes for Rude Behavior in National Assembly

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has apologized, admitting that his language and style towards the members of the National Assembly meeting were rude. Minister Gurung apologized from the rostrum after a heated exchange with the members during the ongoing discussion on monsoon-induced disaster management.

During the meeting, in the context of the Nirmala Panta murder case, Home Minister Gurung had angrily warned from the rostrum, 'Do not ask me questions about Nirmala Panta.' After his rude style and expression contrary to parliamentary decorum were criticized in the house, he immediately realized his mistake.
