UAE Accelerates New Pipeline Construction as Alternative to Strait of Hormuz

Kathmandu. The UAE will accelerate the construction of a new pipeline as an alternative to the 'Strait of Hormuz' after West Asia war disrupted exports through the important Strait of Hormuz, UAE state media reported on Friday.

Abu Dhabi Media Office said, "The West-East pipeline will double the capacity of the state's vast fuel producing company 'ADNOC' through the port of Fujairah and efforts will be made to bring it into operation by next year."
