Roads Blocked Across Nepal Due to Rain, Landslides

Kathmandu. Major highways and road sections in various districts of the country have been obstructed due to rain. The Nepal Police, releasing details as of 5:00 AM today, stated that more than a dozen road sections are affected due to landslides, road erosion, and potential floods.

According to the police, the Khurkot-Nepal Thok-Katunjebesi road section on the BP Highway connecting Kavrepalanchok-Sindhuli has been restricted for all types of vehicles from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM due to the risk of potential floods. Arrangements have been made for vehicle operation from 4:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
