Courts Rely on Executive for Enforcement, Facing Delays

The court decides on constitutional and legal disputes. The court itself does not implement the decision. The implementation of the court's decision depends on the executive branch.

Nepal does not have a 'judicial police' system. Therefore, courts have to depend on the executive and its mechanisms for the implementation of their decisions. There is a lack of political will in the executive. Court decisions remain unimplemented for years under various pretexts.
