Supreme Court Rulings Face Implementation Challenges

Kathmandu. Lawyers and stakeholders file writ petitions in the Supreme Court on various public interest issues. It is found that the implementation of some judgments made by the Supreme Court in cases that take months or years is being delayed.< /p>

The Directorate of Execution of Judgments has not failed to urge the government to implement such judgments. However, as the government does not show interest in implementing some judgments that are against it, the affected parties are not able to feel justice.< /p>
