Two Arrested for Rape in Bardiya and Banke

Kathmandu. Two people have been arrested by the police on charges of rape in Bardiya and Banke.

In Bardiya, 45-year-old Kamalraj Bik, a resident of Lamkiphata, Barbardiya Municipality-11, was arrested by the police on Thursday afternoon on charges of raping a 29-year-old woman. A complaint was filed that Kamalraj had raped the young woman. Based on that complaint, a police team dispatched from Katarniyaghat Police Post took him into custody.
