Shubman Gill Injured Ahead of Sri Lanka Test Series

Kathmandu. The Indian cricket team, preparing for a two-Test series against Sri Lanka, is further worried by the injury of captain Shubman Gill. After injuring his right hand finger during practice, Gill could not take to the field on the first day of the three-day practice match against Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC)-XI.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement today stating that Gill was injured during the practice session on Thursday.
