Ebola Cases Reach 4,053 in Democratic Republic of Congo, 1,850 Deaths

Kathmandu. The number of confirmed Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo has reached 4,053, with 1,850 deaths. Health officials are investigating the unprecedented outbreak of the virus.

This outbreak of the Bundibugyo Ebola virus has been reported as the second-largest Ebola outbreak recorded globally and the largest crisis in Congo since the virus was first identified in the country in 1976.
