Opposition Lawmakers Demand Clarification and Removal of PM's Controversial Statement from Parliamentary Record

Kathmandu. Opposition lawmakers have not abandoned their demand for Prime Minister Balen Shah to clarify his controversial statement made in the House of Representatives on Jestha 17 and to remove it from the parliamentary record.

Opposition lawmakers protested again on Friday as soon as Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal began the session. Subsequently, Speaker Aryal gave one lawmaker each from the opposition parties Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepal Communist Party, Labour Culture Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party time to speak.
