Rastriya Swatantra Party Bans Financial Influence and Abuse of Power in Local Election Candidate Selection

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will immediately expel individuals who use financial influence and abuse of power in the upcoming local level election selection process. RSP has banned money, power, access, and any kind of bargaining in the five-point code of conduct, 'Outline for Candidate Selection for Local Level Election-2083' published by RSP. It is mentioned that any kind of financial transaction, donation, assistance, gift, facility, direct or indirect temptation, or other material gain to obtain or facilitate candidacy, or to influence the evaluation, is completely prohibited. The outline states, 'Money influence, abuse of power, or bargaining will have no place in the candidate selection process. Both parties involved in such financial manipulation or improper transaction will be immediately expelled, ceasing to be even ordinary members of the party.'
