CPN (Unified Socialist) States Conditions for Joining Koshi Province Government

Biratnagar. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has stated that if there is an agreement within the UML to continue the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, for only a few weeks, then its party will not participate in the government.

According to the three-point agreement reached at the center, the first discussion between the CPN (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) for the formation and operation of the government in Koshi Province was held today at the Chief Minister's residence in Biratnagar. During the discussion, Indra Bahadur Angbo, leader of the CPN Koshi Province Parliamentary Party, stated that his party would not join the government merely for the UML's 'face saving'.
