Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal, Heavy Rainfall Expected in Koshi and Bagmati

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low-pressure line is around its average position.

Generally cloudy weather prevails in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, as well as other hilly and mountainous regions, while the Terai region has partly cloudy to mostly clear weather. Light rainfall with thunderstorms is occurring in some places in the Bagmati Province. Light rainfall is also occurring in one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces.
