Voter Registration Increases in Jhapa Through National Identity Card

Jhapa. The number of people registering their names in the voter list through the National Identity Card in Jhapa is increasing. Among the new voters added so far in the voter list compilation campaign, which resumed after the House of Representatives election held in February, most have registered their names through the National Identity Card.

According to the District Election Office Jhapa, 10,359 new voters have been added since last March 22 until Thursday. Of these, 7,801 registered their names in the voter list through the National Identity Card and 2,558 by appearing at the District Election Office. Among the new voters, there are 5,333 males and 5,026 females.
