Seven Political Parties Announce 'Progressive Front'

Kathmandu. A 'Progressive Front' will be announced today among various seven political parties. Parties active for the rights of Madhes, Tharuhat, Dalit and oppressed classes and marginalized communities are uniting to announce the 'Progressive Front'. The official announcement of the front will be made at 1 PM at Kathmandu Banquet in Thapagaon.

The front includes main regional and ethnic-based parties such as the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal led by Upendra Yadav, the Janamat Party led by Dr. CK Raut, and the Nagarik Unmukti Party for which Resham Chaudhary is the patron.
