Foreign Minister Khanal and US Deputy Secretary of State Hooker Hold Telephone Talks

Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker held a telephone conversation.< /p>

During the conversation, Deputy Secretary of State Hooker expressed the deep condolences of the US government for the loss of life and property caused by the devastating flood that occurred on Wednesday. She clarified that the US government would stand with and in solidarity with Nepal in facing the situation and in the rescue of missing American citizens and other individuals.< /p>
