Kathmandu Public Health Office Establishes Breastfeeding Room

Kathmandu. The Public Health Office Kathmandu has established a breastfeeding room. The breastfeeding room has been inaugurated at its office located in Teku, Kathmandu, to be operational from Friday. It has been stated that the breastfeeding room will be used by the staff of the Public Health Office and health workers from all eleven local levels of Kathmandu district. The breastfeeding room has been established on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week.

This year's breastfeeding week has been celebrated with various programs under the main slogan 'Healthy Start for a Sustainable Life: Everyone's Support for Effective Breastfeeding'.
