Europe's Last Military Pigeon Loft Trains Pigeons for Potential Service

There are 200 pigeons in the military pigeon house located inside the fortress of Mont-Valérien in Hauts-de-Seine. They are trained and fed like high-level athletes. This is the last remaining military pigeon house in Europe.

737 is spending her pleasant days in the high altitudes of Suresnes. The skies of Paris are open to this female messenger pigeon. She is assigned to the 8th Signal Regiment of the French Army, located within the walls of the Mont-Valérien fortress in Hauts-de-Seine.
