4,408 Disaster Incidents Recorded Nationwide from April to August

Kathmandu. A total of 4,408 disaster incidents have occurred across the country from April 1, 2083, to July 23. According to the bulletin published by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, a total of 205 people have lost their lives due to disasters during this period, while 5 people are missing and 1,324 have been injured.

According to the authority's data, snakebites have caused the most human casualties since April. 59 people died and 749 were injured in 801 snakebite incidents.
