Two Held in Siraha with Banned Medicines and Brown Sugar

Siraha. Police have taken two people into custody from two separate locations in the Golbazar area of Siraha with banned medicines and a brown substance resembling brown sugar. According to the District Police Office Siraha, they were arrested on Saturday evening.

A joint police team from the District Police Office Siraha and the Area Police Office Golbazar arrested 18-year-old Shiva Prasad Rai Kurmi from near Durga Mandir, Ward No. 7, Golbazar Municipality. Police said that when Kurmi, a resident of Ward No. 8, Mirchaiya Municipality, Siraha, was checked on suspicion, 13 bottles of banned medicine labeled 'ONEREX-100 ML' and a mobile phone were found hidden inside a white sack he was carrying.
