Pokhara City Buses Cause Increased Pollution

Pokhara. Pollution is increasing due to lack of regular maintenance of city buses in Pokhara. An environmental study report by the Gandaki government has also concluded that the pollution in Pokhara has increased due to such vehicles being in excess.

On Sunday, the Transport Management Office, Kaski, measured the pollution of vehicles plying on New Road, Pokhara. During the pollution test, 15 vehicles out of those tested were found to be emitting more smoke than the standard.
