House of Representatives Meeting Today to Present Four Key Bills

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is being held today. The meeting, scheduled for 1:00 PM in Singhdarbar, has a potential agenda to present four important bills. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present the 'Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083'. Similarly, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam will present the 'Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083', and Youth, Labour and Employment Minister Ramji Yadav will present the 'Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083'. On behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Law Minister Sobita Gautam will present the proposal 'Consideration of the Constitutional Bodies' Remuneration, Service Conditions and Facilities (First Amendment) Bill, 2083'. Furthermore, Minister Gautam will also present the proposal 'Pass the Bill to Revive the Previous Provision of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042, Bill, 2083' along with the report of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee. Before presenting the bills, the meeting also has a program where the concerned ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment. Four Parliamentary Committee Meetings Also Being Held. Along with the House of Representatives meeting, meetings of four parliamentary committees are also being held today. The meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, scheduled for 9:00 AM, will discuss the 'National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081'. The meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee, scheduled for 10:00 AM, has a program to discuss the report of the Study Subcommittee on National Pride Projects. Similarly, the meeting of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, scheduled for 11:30 AM, will discuss the implementation of the 'National Integrity Policy, 2083'. The meeting of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will discuss the committee's meeting operating procedures, the secretariat informed.
