CTEVT Contract and Daily Wage Employees Protest at Central Office

Kathmandu. Contract and daily wage employees from across the country under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) have surrounded the central office located at Sano Thimi, Bhaktapur.

Approximately 2,200 contract and daily wage employees working in 67 constituent campuses have surrounded the central office located at Sano Thimi, Bhaktapur. The employees, who have been staging phased protests since Shrawan 14, citing discrimination in service facilities and remuneration despite performing work of a similar nature for a long time, stated that they were forced to surround the central office as the management did not listen to their demands.
