Jannik Sinner Withdraws from Cincinnati Open Due to Knee Injury

Kathmandu. World number one tennis player Jannik Sinner has withdrawn his name from the Cincinnati Open due to a right knee injury. Italian player Sinner himself announced his withdrawal from the competition by issuing a statement on the ATP's official website on Sunday.

'After consulting with doctors and the team, I have been forced to withdraw my name from the Cincinnati Masters 1000 competition,' Sinner said in the statement. 'The problem with my right knee is bothering me. Although I am working continuously with the medical team, I am not ready to compete at the moment.'
