Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Saraswati Lama Expresses Concern Over Recent Incidents

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party has expressed concern over the recent incidents in Captangunj and Golbazar, stating that the state's inability to protect the life and property of citizens is a weakness of the state. In the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, RPP MP Saraswati Lama urged the government to coordinate security and adopt long-term measures to prevent such incidents from recurring, stating that violence in any form, whether religious or otherwise, ultimately harms the country.

MP Lama emphasized the need to protect Nepal's multi-religious and multicultural identity and to manage centers of all religions and faiths. She demanded that all religious organizations must be compulsorily registered with government bodies for their management, the financial sources of religious organizations must be transparent and regularly audited, and clear criteria regarding the minimum distance and location between centers of one faith and another should be determined to minimize future conflicts.
